Pride Outside

Boasting a theme of Solidarity Through Pride, this year’s Boston Pride Week kicks off on June 3 at 11 a.m. when the rainbow flag is hoisted at City Hall for the annual flag-raising ceremony. Early highlights include Pride Night @ Fenway Park on June 3, where fans can witness the Sox take on the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:10 p.m. VIP ticket buyers can even join a pre-game reception with Billy Bean, Major League Baseball’s first-ever Vice-President of Social Responsibility & Inclusion. The outdoor fun continues at Faneuil Hall Marketplace on June 4 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. for Pride Day @ Faneuil Hall, where visitors can meet Mr. and Miss Boston Pride and enjoy live music, a drag show and an afternoon dance party. And don’t forget the 31st AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run, which returns to the Esplanade on June 5 beginning at 10 a.m.
