Fall Into Art

An autumn tradition now in its 19th year, the Boston International Fine Art Show takes up residence at the Boston Center for the Arts’ Cyclorama from October 22–25. A showcase for more than 40 galleries from as near as Newbury Street and Harrison Avenue to as far away as Florida and New Mexico, the International Fine Art Show features sculpture, paintings, prints, photographs and more from around the world. Whether you’re into Old Master drawings or contemporary works, you’ll be dazzled by what’s on display at this grand show and sale. It all kicks off on October 22 from 5:30–8:30 p.m. with the Gala Preview—which boasts food, wine and live music—benefitting the McMullen Museum at Boston College. For art lovers who don’t merely like to look, the weekend show also hosts special lectures and panels, including talks on Boston’s own John Singer Sargent and stained glass artist John La Farge.
