The James Beard Award-winning team behind Portland, Maine’s Eventide Oyster Co. has brought its modern take on classic New England seafood to Boston with the recent opening of Eventide Fenway (1321 Boylston St., 617-545-1060, eventideoysterco.com). Even with its stripped-down menu, this counter-service offshoot of the more formal original to the north still dishes out favorites like its signature brown butter lobster roll (pictured), a wide array of Massachusetts and Maine oysters, and a selection of creative, seasonal dishes, from tuna crudo to fluke tartare. Eventide Fenway also offers a carefully curated selection of beer and wine, complementing its high-end seafood selections presented in a casual setting.
