All for One

Faneuil Hall Marketplace has long been a popular gathering place for people from all walks of life. On July 29, however, folks get together for more than just shopping, dining and a glimpse of history as the second annual Boston Race Amity Arts & Music Festival returns to celebrate unity and diversity. Organized by the National Center for Race Amity, a local organization dedicated to equity and social justice, the party runs from noon to 6 p.m. and features a community art project, the Unity Mural; handmade local arts and crafts for sale; free samples of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream courtesy of Boston Scoops; and live music headlined by Massachusetts homie and former “The Voice” contestant Cara Brindisi, who is sure to belt out some new songs from her upcoming debut album set for release in the fall. No matter your background, it all sounds like a great way to support a noble cause while having some summer fun in the heart of the city.
