The annual Boston Pizza Festival returns to City Hall Plaza June 21 & 22, and this time it’s bringing a genuine bit of Italy to the Hub. This two-day culinary extravaganza—which once again brings more than two dozen of the best pie makers in the region to town—features a rare visit from an expert team from Pizza a Vico, an Italian pizza festival from the Sorrento peninsula, as well as the U.S debut of the 100% Italian-made flour Molino Scoppettuolo. A new ticketing structure also debuts, offering packages for three, five and ten-slice add-ons in addition to the two slices included with the $10 entry fee. There’s even live music, wine, beer, vegan options, pizza-making demonstrations and more for the 20,000 or so hungry patrons expected to attend this yearly tribute to one of the world’s greatest foods.
