Boston Public Market: The city’s award-winning, year-round farmers market showcases special pop-up vendors November 21–23 offering everything you need for your holiday table, including kitchen accessories, table decorations and more.
Community Servings: This vital non-profit’s annual Pie in the Sky fundraiser has you covered for dessert with apple, pecan and pumpkin varieties available for sale to benefit its mission of delivering nutritious, medically tailored meals to families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island with acute health issues. Order online and pick up on November 25 at one of 40 locations to help this great cause.
Fireside Tavern: Head to Sherborn a few miles west of the Hub for this restaurant’s Thanksgiving Feast To-Go, which boasts all-white-meat roasted, herbed and sliced turkey breast; roasted or mashed potatoes; stuffing with Brussels sprouts or green beans; cranberry sauce; gravy; cornbread or dinner rolls; and even a whole apple or pumpkin pie. Various packages serve as few as 4 or as many as 10–12 and can be ordered for pick-up on November 26.
Jasper White’s Summer Shack: The Cambridge seafood emporium pivots to land-based selections for its 20th annual Thanksgiving meal deal, which can be ordered as a full feast—including a roasted or fried 14-to-16-pound bird, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, squash, gravy and cranberry sauce—or à la carte. Add-ons like pies (including lobster!) and shrimp cocktail can also be selected for pick-up on November 26 from noon–6 p.m.
The Smoke Shop (pictured): The acclaimed local barbecue chain continues its tradition of boxed Thanksgiving meals (breast and thigh meat, pork loin ham and all the fixings) and à la carte delicacies like smoked brisket, Texas toast stuffing and pumpkin spice butter cake for the kitchen-challenged. Order on its site by November 21 for pick-up on November 25 or 26 at any of its six locations. One change from the usual is the opening of the Assembly Square locale for hungry T-Day diners from noon–7 p.m.
