Not many can claim to have turned playing with children’s toys into a career, yet artist Nathan Sawaya is one of the few (and perhaps only) people to have accomplished this feat. The toys in question are Lego plastic bricks, which Sawaya uses to craft an incredible array of works, from re-creations of famous masterpieces (including Rodin’s The Thinker) to original sculptures like a 20-foot long Tyrannosaurus Rex.
