Party among the animals June 1 from 5–7:30 p.m. at the Franklin Park Zoo when the Roars & Pours benefit allows those of the over-21 set to enjoy adult beverages while communing with lemurs, lowland gorillas and more at the facility’s Tropical Forest Pavilion. This annual event decants vintages and brews from near and far, as well as cocktails made with locally blended rum and both Boston- and Vermont-made cider, while offering victuals from The Chubby Chickpea, Kings and more. Tickets to this wild celebration are $50 in advance or $55 at the door.
