Boston Fashion Week enters its landmark 25th year when it returns September 22–28. Officially kicking off with the Boston Fashion IRL celebration at the Mandarin Oriental Boston, which boasts a photo exhibit, a live fashion presentation and an introduction to the future of fashion and virtual reality, the week also encompasses fashion-related storytelling, student and professional runway shows and a closing reception at Salem’s Peabody Essex Museum, which unveils the venerable institution’s first permanent fashion and design installation.
