Free Al Fresco Music
If you agree that music and fresh air belong together like peanut butter and marshmallow fluff, then the Boston Public Library has something right up your alley. The Concerts in the Courtyard return this summer to the Copley Square branch’s historic McKim Building, which boasts a gorgeous Italian-style atrium that is the perfect setting for enjoying free tunes. Held on both Wednesdays at 6 p.m. (in partnership with Berklee College of Music) and Fridays at 12:30 p.m., these one-hour showcases of talent from both the Hub and around the world have a little something for every musical taste, from jazz, pop and folk to classical, Latin and soul.
