As Sail Boston 2017—a grand celebration featuring a wide array of tall ships from all over the world that is one leg of the trans-Atlantic Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta—continues in and around Boston Harbor, plenty of maritime fun remains for fans of these majestic vessels. On June 19 from noon–2 p.m., enjoy the Crew & Cadet Street Parade from Seaport Boulevard all the way to Downtown Crossing, complete with marching bands. A crew soccer tournament happens June 20 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Moakley Park in South Boston, while a tug of war competition comes to South Boston Maritime Park on June 21 at noon. Sunset Salutes, which include bands and military drill teams, take place both June 20 from 7–8:30 p.m. at Charlestown Navy Yard and June 21 from 7–9 p.m. at Fan Pier. And don’t forget that public boarding of the ships is available at Fish Pier, the World Trade Center, Fan Pier and Pier 1 and Pier 4 in Charlestown daily from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. until the ships depart the morning of June 22.
