Fenway Free for All

Now in its 18th year, the Fenway Alliance’s Opening Our Doors Festival once again brings free cultural events to one of Boston’s most vibrant neighborhoods on October 14 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Centered around the Christian Science Plaza, the day of festivities begins with a New Orleans-style parade, music, poetry, dance and even free cupcakes. Other performances take place throughout the area along with art demonstrations, tours, a Japanese tea ceremony and indoor kite flying, while open houses take place at such famed neighborhood institutions as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.
