Centered around Copley Square, the Boston Book Festival returns to the Hub October 19, presenting appearances by dozens of renowned writers and publishing professionals from across the nation and globe at Back Bay venues that include the Boston Public Library and the Old South Church. This year, the event has expanded its parameters, offering a second day of activities in Dudley Square in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood on October 20. There’s even a kickoff event the night before the festival on October 18 featuring a keynote address by activist and author Samantha Power.
