Witness all kinds of catty behavior at two musicals coming this month to the Citizens Bank Opera House. First, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s beloved 1981 classic Cats (pictured) takes the stage January 7–19 as the touring version of the 2016 Broadway revival lands in the Hub. Next is the local premiere of Mean Girls, the musical adaptation of the 2004 Tina Fey-penned film that hilariously skewers teenage cliques through the experiences of new student Cady, who was raised on the African savannah. Beginning January 28, feline fireworks erupt as Cady tries to navigate the new wilds of a suburban high school while falling in with a group of popular girls.
