Hilarity for Charity

Now entering its 26th year, the annual Comics Come Home concert fundraiser once again features both top local and national stand-up talent. Gathering at the TD Garden on November 12 are perennial host and Massachusetts-raised actor/comedian Denis Leary (pictured), who appears with such luminaries as Jimmy Fallon, John Mulaney, Sam Jay and Robert Kelly. Expect a night of non-stop laughs, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the cancer-fighting Cam Neely Foundation’s new venture, The Neely Integrative Center, which is a first-of-its kind, state-of-the-art facility planned in conjunction with The Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition and Science Policy that hopes to advance research, education and science-based care and nutrition access for cancer and autoimmune patients. So far in its history, the event has raised more than $13 million for the foundation, which was created by Boston Bruins legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Cam Neely in 1995 to provide comfort, support and hope to adult and pediatric cancer patients and their families.
