If you’re an Olympics junkie and sad about the summer edition winding down for 2024, fear not. The Skating Club of Boston, in conjunction with U.S. Figure Skating, has the perfect treat for those looking forward to the Winter Olympics in 2026 when the venerable figure skating organization presents the Elite Summer Sizzler at the Tenley E. Albright Performance Center in Norwood on August 15 at 7 p.m. Top skaters from Team USA take to the rink—including World Champion Ilia Malinin (pictured), who will also be throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park on August 12—for a preview of each athlete’s program for the upcoming season. All the performers are in town for intensive training as they gear up for the new season, culminating in the 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships presented by The Skating Club right here in Boston at the TD Garden from March 25–30.
