Wining and dining takes on a whole new meaning at the 26th annual Boston Wine Expo February 18 & 19 at the Seaport World Trade Center. This grape-tastic extravaganza showcases more than 1,800 vintages from over 200 international and domestic wineries at the two-day Grand Tasting, which also features food vendors offering gourmet treats like artisan cheese, olive oil, chocolate, baked goods and more, as well as booths hosted by such prominent local restaurants as Babbo Pizzeria, Kings and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House. Oenophiles can also enjoy seminars—including one by vineyard heavyweight Robert Mondavi, Jr. on February 18 at 11 a.m.—by industry insiders; a Vintner’s Reserve Lounge where wine-lovers can sample exclusive, small-batch reds and whites; chef demonstrations by a cadre of local luminaries; and early-access VIP treatment for those who purchase special premium tickets.
