After making the playoffs last spring for the first time in several years, the Boston Bruins look to push even further 2017–2018. A mix of returning veterans—including team captain and defenseman Zdeno Chara (pictured), goalie Tuukka Rask and forward Patrice Bergeron—and young talent like the recently re-signed right-winger David Pastrňák and blueliner Charlie McAvoy kicked off their National Hockey League season on October 5. The campaign continues with home games October 9 against the Colorado Avalanche, October 19 versus the Vancouver Canucks and October 21 against the Buffalo Sabres at the TD Garden.
