Now in its fifth year, Boston Design Week once again showcases the best in design across a variety of disciplines, from architecture to interior design to product design. Taking place at venues all over the city and around the Boston area from April 4–15, the celebration features five (get it?) opening events, including a tastemaker panel in the Back Bay, a party in the Seaport District and free admission to the Fenway’s Museum of Fine Arts (pictured) after 4 p.m. From there, enjoy lectures, discussions, tours and workshops on topics ranging from burgeoning technological advances and sustainable design to urban planning and even hat-making, all culminating in the art and home decor extravaganza AD20/21 Home at the Boston Center for the Arts’ Cyclorama April 12–15.
