Lobsters and Chowder and Clams, Oh My!
Many come to Boston hoping to indulge in the bounty of the ocean. One prime opportunity to do so is at the seventh annual Boston Seafood Festival at historic Boston Fish Pier on August 5 from 11 a.m.–6 p.m., where attendees can sup on native crustaceans, cod and the like, as well as witness oyster-shucking and fish-filleting contests, chef demonstrations and other events designed to educate visitors about New England’s vital seafood industry. Family activities, a Harpoon-sponsored beer tent and live music also add to a full day of festivities on Boston Harbor.
