There’s no shortage of compelling true stories in the world. One of the best ways to experience them is at the GlobeDocs Film Festival, which returns October 10–14 to highlight narratives brought to light by some of the most talented documentarians in the world. From opening night’s The Feeling of Being Watched—a chronicle of a community unknowingly living under surveillance—to the closing feature Lobster Wars, viewers can not only see engrossing tales unfold on the screens of the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline and Cambridge’s Brattle Theatre, but they can also receive further illumination from post-screening discussions with Boston Globe reporters.
