Described as “a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes,” The Play That Goes Wrong continues to be a big hit in London’s West End and on Broadway. You need not be in the Big Apple or merry old England, though, to enjoy this Tony Award-winning play-within-a-play spoofing classic murder mysteries as it has now embarked on a national tour that comes to Boston’s Emerson Colonial Theatre November 7–18. Now comedy fans can see for themselves why this “wrong” is so right.
