Sands-travaganza
Once again the top creative talents in their field descend on America’s first public beach for the Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival July 26–28. This free event attracted more than a million visitors last year, who witnessed shoreline descendants of Michelangelo craft dazzling works that put your average sand castle to shame. The sculpting contest, along with food trucks and plenty of fun family activities, looks to earn just as much attention this year, especially with a fireworks display scheduled over the course of the weekend, adding color to an already spectacular happening.
