High 5: Beer Gardens

Savor the last days of summer with sips at one of these welcoming spots

Trillium Garden on The Greenway (Rose Kennedy Greenway, High Street and Atlantic Avenue, trilliumbrewing.com): For the third year in a row, Boston’s Trillium Brewing Company offers its coveted ales, along with wine from Westport Rivers Winery, in the heart of the city.

Cisco Brewers Seaport (65 Northern Ave., ciscobrewers.com): Enjoy games, live music, victuals from Luke’s Lobster, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar and Flatbread—oh, and beer and wine, of course, from Nantucket’s venerable Cisco Brewers and Nantucket Vineyard.

Owl’s Nest (Charles River Esplanade, Fiedler Field, pictured; Christian Herter Park, Allston; nightshiftfamily.com): Two locations along the Charles River entice thirsty patrons to indulge in suds from the Everett-based Night Shift Brewing.

Castle Island Brewing Company at Constitution Wharf (1 Constitution Rd., Charlestown, castleislandbeer.com): The Norwood-based brewer hosts a 20-tap draft trailer, food trucks and more at this outdoor space in Charlestown overlooking the USS Constitution.

The Anchor at Charlestown Navy Yard (1 Shipyard Park, Charlestown, 617-286-2404, theanchorboston.com): This brand-new venue at the historic waterfront site boasts snacks, games, harbor views and taps offering a rotating selection of regional craft beers along with wine, sangria and non-alcoholic beverages, all in a unique two-level setting.
