Star power comes to the Hub February 5–22 when the pre-Broadway run of the revival of Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite premieres at the historic Emerson Colonial Theatre. Featuring stage and screen luminaries—not to mention real-life romantic partners—Matthew Broderick (pictured, above left) and Sarah Jessica Parker (right), the play centers around the ups and downs of three couples who occupy the same hotel room at New York City’s Plaza Hotel at different times. Directed by Tony Award-winning actor John Benjamin Hickey (center), this new production is the first-ever Broadway revival of Simon’s classic comedy, and the first revival of any of the beloved playwright’s works since his death in 2018. And Plaza Suite is actually no stranger to Boston—it had its world premiere at the Colonial in 1968.
