For the 68th time, the annual Beanpot hockey tournament once again makes Boston the center of the men’s college hockey universe for two nights as four traditional rivals—the Boston University Terriers, the Boston College Eagles, the Harvard University Crimson and the Northeastern University Huskies—take the ice at the TD Garden. The first round on February 3 matches defending champions Northeastern versus Harvard at 5 p.m., while the nightcap features B.C. and B.U. at 8 p.m. The winners of those games vie for the silver trophy—and city bragging rights—a week later at 7:30 p.m., while third place is determined in a consolation game that afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
