Get fit in the new year by participating in one of these Hub-based online exercise classes

Emerald Necklace Conservancy: The non-profit dedicated to the preservation of Frederick Law Olmsted’s influential park system also hosts virtual vinyasa yoga classes (pictured, from last summer) throughout the winter, including January 20 & 26 and February 4, 10 & 16.

Boston Public Library: The BPL’s Never Too Late Group—geared toward serving senior adults and one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the country—boasts a variety of classes online every Thursday at 2 p.m., including tai chi (February 11 & March 11), chair yoga (February 25), and gentle movement and meditation (March 25).

Exhale: The Hub outposts of the spa and fitness chain host a live stream of Boston-based teacher Erin, who leads sessions in both barre and cardio (Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m.) and barre-only (Sundays at 9:15 a.m.).

Coolidge Yoga: The Brookline- and South End-based studio streams a number of fitness classes on a daily basis, including vinyasa yoga, kripalu yoga and chair yoga.

Boston Yoga Online: This catch-all site for a variety of virtual (and sometimes free) yoga classes gathers together lists of daily sessions offered by a number of different teachers from all over the Boston area.
