Hockeytown
Boston is a hotbed of college hockey, particularly at this time of year when the 67th Beanpot hockey tournament takes center stage at the home of the NHL’s Boston Bruins, TD Garden, where the area’s top men’s programs— Northeastern University, Harvard University, Boston University and Boston College—face off for local bragging rights. After the first round, which took place February 4, victors the BC Eagles and the NU Huskies—who broke a three-decade drought to win last year—vie in the championship tilt at 7:30 p.m. February 11, while the consolation game between the BU Terriers and the Harvard Crimson occurs at 4:30 p.m.
