Now in its 10th year, the HBO-sponsored Women in Comedy Festival (WICF) lands in Boston May 2–5 to once again celebrate funny female voices. Highlighted by four separate shows headlined by a diverse lineup at the Wilbur Theatre May 3 & 4, including improv troupe Wild Horses (pictured) and renowned stand-up Nikki Glaser, WICF also features showcases all over the area by up-and-coming comedians, as well as three film and screenplay contests, one of which is helmed by locally bred actor/director/writer Frankie Shaw.
