Legendary venues play a large part in Boston’s music history, from the late, lamented Boston Tea Party to the still-rocking Paradise Rock Club. Roadrunner, a new room hoping to be considered in that same tier, is set to open soon in the Hub’s Brighton neighborhood. Named after the iconic song by The Modern Lovers and located adjacent to the Boston Landing headquarters for sneaker maker New Balance, the 50,000-square-foot, 3,500-capacity concert hall has already attracted a full slate of top touring acts, beginning with Billy Strings (pictured) on March 15. Many shows are already selling out, yet tickets are still available for such local and national favorites as Dropkick Murphys (March 20), LCD Soundsystem (April 3–6), Bright Eyes (April 7), Big Thief (April 13), Lucius (April 29), Olivia Rodrigo (May 3) and Interpol (May 11).
