Dine-apalooza

The semi-annual restaurant extravaganza that is Dine Out Boston returns for its spring edition March 10–23, featuring special multi-course menus from more than 150 area eateries. With lunch available from $22–36 and dinner from $36–55, each establishment offers hungry patrons customized meals to fit their appetites as well as their budgets. It’s a perfect opportunity for local foodies to sample both old favorites like Cantina Italiana in the North End, all six Greater Boston locations of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse and every Hub outpost of Legal Sea Foods, or more recent up-and-comers like the Back Bay’s Little Whale Oyster Bar from chef Michael Serpa, Spanish specialist Para Maria (pictured) at the Seaport’s Envoy Hotel and chef Douglass Williams’ latest outpost for his Italian-influenced Mida in East Boston. As always, a charitable online auction from March 11–27 for $100 Dine Out Boston gift certificates—which this year benefits the Boston Preservation Alliance, an organization dedicated to protecting the city’s architectural heritage—is also part of the proceedings.
