ICA brings DJs and dance to the waterfront
Picture this: Enjoying relaxing tunes and sampling specialty food with a group of friends outside on the Boston waterfront. This is exactly what Wavelengths at the Institute of Contemporary Art is all about.
Celebrate the start of this new summer concert series on July 11 at 6:30 p.m. with Dean Wareham, formerly of Galaxie 500 and Luna, and opening indie-rock band Quilt. Wareham goes solo with a soulful, dreamy sound that pairs perfectly with the aesthetically stunning ICA—and a refreshing cocktail, of course.
The following Friday, experience the melodious rhythms of Autre Ne Veut (pictured), who puts a dark twist on classic R&B, and opening act Ava Luna. During the July 11 and 18 performances, Island Creek Oysters brings its popular raw bar to the edge of Boston Harbor, offering fresh seafood to pair with your musical palate.
