High 5: Easter Brunch

Savor the holiday on April 4 with these great ideas for a family brunch

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse: The Back Bay and Seaport locations of this hot spot for Italian food offer competing menus for the special day from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. In the Seaport, enjoy such indulgences as buttermilk Belgian waffles (pictured), while the Back Bay flagship features red velvet pancakes, cinnamon French toast and more.

Miel Brasserie: The French-accented waterside destination at the InterContinental Boston presents Easter brunch from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m., boasting a plethora of tasty treats from both local waters and regional farms. Pick from the enormous seafood raw bar for two (highlighted by oysters, jumbo shrimp and a 1.5-pound lobster), grilled steak frites and the hearty New England breakfast (two eggs, potatoes, veggies, bacon, sausage and more) or opt for classics like eggs Benedict and buttermilk waffles or pancakes.

Woods Hill Pier 4: Weekend brunch is served at this new favorite on Boston Harbor, as well as a special take-home Easter meal—complete with slow-cooked leg of lamb, mint gelée, potato and gruyere gratin, plenty of veggies and dessert—that can be ordered by March 31 for pickup in the Seaport or sister restaurant Woods Hill Table in Concord.

Bambara Kitchen & Bar: Located adjacent to the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge, this Mediterranean-influenced eatery offers both dine-in specials and takeaway meal kits for Easter. Order by March 31 for Easter Sunday pickup and receive such delights as roast leg of lamb and chocolate cake with passion fruit, hazelnut and whipped cream, or sit down for the prix fixe menu that includes choices like squash arancini, bucatini with meatballs and eggplant parmesan.

Harvest: A garden patio with heaters, a gas fireplace and farm- and ocean-fresh dishes are all ingredients that make brunch at this Harvard Square mainstay a must. Enjoy a special three-course, prix fixe Easter brunch or dinner—featuring such tempting options as oysters, lamb tartare, grilled salmon, and lobster and shrimp mousseline ravioli—from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on April 4.
