Bambara Kitchen & Bar (pictured): The Cambridge eatery at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel gives patrons the choice of dining on site on May 9 (MOMosas and live music on the patio, anyone?), or picking up a “Mother’s Day Breakfast in Bed” kit on May 8 that encompasses brioche French toast along with plenty of fixings, coffee from La Columbe and the ingredients to create the aforementioned fizzy beverage.

Prezza: Celebrate brunch with Mom Italian-style at chef Anthony Caturano’s dining destination in the North End. Really late risers can enjoy dinner later in the day with such dishes as wood-grilled squid and octopus, gnocchi Bolognese and veal Milanese.
