All Fired Up
An offshoot of popular all-you-can-eat stir-fry specialist Fire + Ice, the new downstairs eatery and bar Underfire (205 Berkeley St., 617-482-3473) brings to Boston a new take on do-it-yourself dining. For now the Back Bay newcomer is offering creative, custom burgers and tacos along with seasonal craft cocktails and beers in a fun, casual atmosphere. Come this summer, however, look out for a unique, Asian-inspired culinary experience when Underfire debuts ishi-yaki cooking. This involves not only choosing from six different beef and seafood options, but also sizzling said proteins yourself on a 600-degree volcanic stone. An affordable place to grab a drink and a bite in the neighborhood, Underfire promises to heat things up as the weather gets warmer.
