Anime, or Japanese animation, may not be mainstream in America, but it certainly has an extremely dedicated following here. As evidence of this, look no further than Anime Boston at the Back Bay’s Hynes Convention Center April 3–5. Expect plenty of fans in colorful and creative costumes as well as appearances by animators, voice actors, video game creators and even Japanese actors from the original 1954 Godzilla film.
