There's No Place Like Home

An annual rite of spring is the return of the Boston Red Sox to the friendly confines of Fenway Park. After two years of last place finishes, the Olde Towne Team has re-loaded with the addition of ace pitcher David Price at the top of the rotation and closer Craig Kimbrel, catapulting expectations through the roof (if Fenway had a roof, that is). A bittersweet reason to look forward to the 2016 campaign is that it marks the farewell season for beloved Sox designated hitter David Ortiz (pictured), who looks to elicit even more standing ovations than usual this year. Add your cheers to the chorus at the home opener April 11 against division rivals the Baltimore Orioles. Other notable upcoming home games include the annual 11:05 a.m. tilt on patriot's Day, which this year is against the American League East's reigning champions, the Toronto Blue Jays.
