Looking to jump-start your holiday shopping? Make a dent in your list at the seventh annual CraftBoston Holiday event at the Back Bay’s Hynes Convention Center December 5–7. Presented by the Society of Arts and Crafts, the country’s oldest non-profit craft organization, CraftBoston boasts ceramics, furniture, glass, jewelry, clothing and more by 175 of the world’s best artisans. Other highlights of the weekend include special lectures offering insight into the contemporary craft community. For those in a festive mood, the opening Holidays and Highballs cocktail party on December 4 from 6–9 p.m., which benefits the SAC, lets celebrants walk away with a one-of-a-kind, handmade tumbler once the evening is over.
