Born in Portsmouth, N.H., and boasting a popular location in Cambridge’s Kendall Square, The Friendly Toast (35 Stanhope St., 617-456-7849, thefriendlytoast.com) now has the Back Bay covered for its all-day breakfast needs. More than eggs and French toast are on tap, however, as the eatery also offers a full range of burgers, sandwiches, burritos, adult beverages and even a back lounge open until 3 a.m. on weekends.
