Discover some of the most promising photographers from North America and the U.K. at the Flash Forward Festival hosted by the Magenta Foundation. With the city of Boston as its backdrop, the event features exhibitions, talks and panels at various venues May 1–4. 

The main event is the Flash Forward Group Show at Fairmont Battery Wharf featuring highlights from the festival’s annual photography competition. Throughout the month of May, you’ll find exhibits housed in shipping containers on the Greenway, including an intimate look at the Ekonda pygmies in the Democratic Republic of Congo and travel photographs from Air Canada’s enRoute magazine.
